About us
Impact Marketing was launched by Annabel in December 2011. She saw that there was a real need amongst small to medium sized businesses for flexible access to marketing support. Her first client was snared (we are proud to say they are still with us) and the rest is history! Kate, a friend of Annabel’s for many years who shares a passion for marketing, joined Impact in August 2013 to help Annabel out with an ever growing workload. Impact Marketing became a partnership between Annabel and Kate in August 2014 and our client base continues to grow.
We pride ourselves on the long term relationships we have forged with our clients. We work with a very broad range of companies from a host of industries and each one has been a new and interesting challenge.
Annabel Gilbert
Annabel spent the first 10 years of her career working for food giants Cranswick Country Foods as a National Account Manager, looking after gourmet sausages and bacon and was proud to have worked with major retailers like Sainsbury’s and Morrisons and on major brands such as Taste the Difference, SO Organic, The Best, Weight Watchers and Duchy Originals. She worked closely with new product development and production teams from developing and launching new products, to dealing with exceptionally high promotional volumes at key trading periods like Christmas. Annabel then moved to fast growing family run business Smiffy’s to take on the role of Marketing Manager, where she gained real hands on experience of the challenges associated with promoting a well known trade brand in the consumer market.
Annabel has a very broad marketing experience, but her real passion lies in customer communication, brand shaping, spying new product and promotional opportunities and PR.
